The cost-effective 4-inch industrial printer ZT231 offers high performance in a space-saving enclosure. Thanks to the industry-leading print speed of up to 305 mm/s (12 inches per second) at 203 dpi, you can increase your label throughput with thermal transfer and direct thermal printing. Optionally, you can increase the resolution to 300 dpi to achieve razor-sharp text and barcodes. The robust metal frame makes the ZT231 perfect for use in light industrial environments. With its user-friendly control panel and large colour touchscreen, it is easy to use and shows the status at a glance. Integrated intelligent functions make your work easier and close critical security gaps in your network. The advantages of the ZT231 do not end with the purchase. Thanks to upgrades that can be installed on site, you can add further functions as required. These include options such as a cutter, label applicator, wireless connections and UHF RFID coding.

ZT231 enables your employees to quickly familiarise themselves with the system. You can detect the status at a glance, access user-friendly wizards and helpful video instructions, and change settings conveniently at the touch of a finger - even when wearing gloves. Thanks to its backwards compatibility, the ZT231 can be seamlessly integrated into your existing network. Printers from other manufacturers can be replaced using printer emulations without having to change label sizes or rewrite codes.

Take advantage of Zebra's robust Print DNATM software suite, which is constantly being enhanced with additional features. Configuration, troubleshooting and management are carried out via a web-based dashboard on site or via remote access. To optimise the use of available space, the ZT231 has a compact, space-saving design and a bi-folding cover, so less space is required above the printer. Thanks to the intuitive design and colour coding, inserting the media is child's play. The adjustable sensors offer greater media flexibility, and thanks to the large ribbon capacity you need to change the media less frequently.

Benefit from a variety of standard connectivity options, including USB, serial, Ethernet and USB host. Pairing and printing by tapping with a compatible mobile device thanks to the print touch chip (NFC). Add a second Ethernet port, 802.11ac or an applicator connection.
