The Markoprint X1JET XR prints up to 71 mm high. It prints with high contrast and precision on flat, absorbent and slightly absorbent surfaces, such as carton. The piezo inkjet printer realises the large character printing required in many industries without offset and prints high-resolution text, 1D barcodes, 2D codes and graphics. This makes it ideal as a labeling alternative. On request, the Markoprint X1JET XR can also print very small, with a minimum print height of two millimetres.

The compact and economical system is particularly suitable for the food, chemical and building materials industries. It impresses with its simple integration into packaging systems and conveyor lines.

The Markoprint X1JET XR is available in three installation versions: Compact, Vario and Top. In the Compact version, the printhead is permanently mounted vertically. With the Vario version, the printhead can be rotated 90° to the left, e.g. when coding on ascending conveyor belts. With the top version, coding is carried out from the top of the outer packaging or the product.

The “All in One” design combines the printhead, ink system, cleaning station, control electronics, and power supply in a compact housing, making operation particularly convenient. This well-thought-out construction not only simplifies the commissioning of the system but also the venting of the ink circuit. In addition, it significantly reduces maintenance requirements and ensures long service life as well as safe and reliable operation.

Markoprint 3 logic buttons for intuitive operation

Simple operation via 3 logic keys with LED indicator lights on the top of the housing ensures user-friendly system control. This means that even untrained employees can operate the Markoprint X1JET XR and carry out print jobs safely.

Markoprint X1JET XR 500 ml ink supply bottle

The specially developed, oil-based ink in the generous 500 ml container is perfectly matched to the requirements of various product surfaces. It is suitable for both low-absorbent and absorbent materials, always ensuring a clear and brilliant print image. Thanks to its short drying time, even coated folding cartons or other demanding packaging materials can be printed efficiently, cleanly, and reliably.

The integrated ink tank enables particularly flexible operation, as an ink change can easily be carried out even during ongoing production. This eliminates downtime, ensuring that the entire marking process remains stable and reliable without interruption. This solution saves valuable time, increases productivity, and ensures a consistently efficient workflow in modern production environments.

The specially developed Coding Score makes it easier to select and configure Markoprint printing systems. The performance levels – PRINT, BASIC, ADVANCED, PRO, and ULTIMATE – are clearly defined, easy to compare, and vary depending on the system. This creates transparency in decision-making and ensures investment security in a marking solution that can be flexibly expanded at any time. New requirements for production, efficiency, or sustainability can be easily integrated, securing consistently powerful and economical processes.

The 7″ high-resolution HMI color touchscreen of integra Vivid provides a visual display of print jobs and the status of X1JET and PP Class printing systems. At a glance, you can see whether the printing system is operating, the cartridge ink levels, and the current print speed. The innovative swipe-based UI makes editing printer settings and changing print jobs directly on the display especially easy. With its IP52 rating, it is protected in dusty production environments and against dripping water.

HMI display

The high-resolution OLED display provides visual representation of functions and settings for Markoprint inkjet printers in the X1JET series. Various printer settings can be checked and changed, and the current printer status is shown. In addition, different print images can be selected and populated with data. The start/stop buttons greatly simplify operation. With intuitive control, the printer can be activated and the label printed. The compact, robust system can be easily integrated into the production line thanks to its small footprint. A bracket allows placement on a table or mounting on a wall. Because the device supports hot plugging, it can be removed during operation and used on other compatible systems. The system starts automatically with the connected printing system. An iLOGIK rotary controller operates the HMI and is used to navigate the various menus. If the selected print image contains a variable field, an input option for the variable text appears after selecting the print job.
