The Legi-Air 4050RR is a highly flexible labeling system for automated 1- or 2-sided labeling of carton packaging - ideal for industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and home care. Thanks to its compact design and the ingenious Rombid rotation system, the applicator enables precise label placement even with changing labeling modes - without mechanical modification. Thanks to the quick-change adapter, format changes are quick and tool-free. The tamp-blow process guarantees non-contact label application, with the tamp always parallel to the product surface. Print speeds of up to 400 mm/s and resolutions of up to 600 dpi ensure razor-sharp results - even with variable print data. Whether single or double-sided labeling: The Legi-Air 4050RR stands for process reliability, flexibility and quality in industrial labeling.

The centerpiece of the Legi-Air 4050RR is a rotary swing arm with two axes, which enables labeling on the front, side, or back of the carton. The applicator and tamp rotate independently of each other, ensuring that the tamp always remains parallel to the product surface. This guarantees precise label placement even with complex product positions or varying carton orientations. The result: maximum precision and flexibility in a wide range of logistics and production environments.

With tamp-blow technology, the label is transferred onto the product surface by means of a precise jet of air – completely without direct contact. This method reliably protects delicate or sensitive surfaces from damage while also enabling high labeling speeds. The process guarantees consistently high quality, even in demanding applications, and significantly reduces maintenance requirements compared to mechanical application solutions.

The quick-change adapter makes it possible to change labeling formats quickly, easily, and completely without tools. The labeling tamp can also be replaced in no time at all. This high level of flexibility significantly reduces downtime and saves valuable setup time. Especially in production environments with frequent product changes, dynamic requirements can thus be met efficiently while ensuring consistently high process reliability.

With the optional trigger selection box, different labeling modes can be easily preset - from front and side labeling to 2-sided labeling. The box allows the integration of several sensors and interfaces, so that the 4050RR can be easily adapted to different batches, processes and requirements - without any changeover.
