The Legi-Air 4050B-R is a special robot variant designed to work together with multi-axis robot systems. The proven Legi-Air 4050B series serves as the basis. In this configuration, a shortened base plate enables unrestricted accessibility at the peel bar of the print module for several robot applicator and tamp variants.

With the Legi-Air 4050B-R, you benefit from proven technology from large-scale production: The robot-compatible label print applicator is particularly easy to integrate into existing processes. It prints using either thermal transfer or direct thermal technology. High-performance print modules from leading manufacturers that are designed for continuous operation in industrial environments are available.

The Legi-Air 4050B-R works with a robot that is equipped with a custom-designed applicator pad. The robot moves into the pick-up position in front of the print & apply unit, triggers the printing process, and takes over the freshly printed label. It then applies the label precisely to the previously defined position on the product. This interaction between print & apply system and robotics ensures highly precise, repeatable labeling – even with complex product geometries or hard-to-reach areas.

The label print applicator can be combined with a wide range of print modules from well-known manufacturers (Zebra, Sato, Novexx, CAB). It is possible to replace one print module with another at any time without any problems.

The Legi-Air 4050B-R is easy to operate via the multilingual 7" LCD touch display. Fault diagnostics, productivity, maintenance status and events can also be viewed.

Thanks to its extremely space-saving dimensions, the print & apply labeling system can be integrated without difficulty. Compared to the Legi-Air 4050B, the device has a shortened base plate that allows unrestricted access to the dispensing edge, enabling the robot to interact optimally with its applicator pad.
